2021 BMW 116i

Hi,

I am considering getting a brand new BMW 116i. Few things to consider before confirming the order:

Fuel Consumption - what's the advice on a realistic mileage on a full tank?

 

Any other comments (pro and con) for this car?

New. Looks nice. Nicr interior.

Cons. 

Lower spec i guess. Hp lesser. Issit cat a?

Its a diesel so its as economical as it can get

and the most important thing is people will

see the BMW badge and see you very up

so paying a bit more for fuel is very worth it.

No, it's petrol engine now. Detuned 1.5 turbo engine delivering 109hp and 180nm.

Oh no then its not going sip fuel like the diesel then.

Anyway still worth spending more to flaunt the badge.

It was selling at $120k at barebones in may. Not worth to get it at 155k without promo.

Btw, audi a3 just launched is mild hybrid and its cat B. Comparable to 1 series.

F.C. depends alot on the Traffic Conditions,Type of Roads[Highway or Town Driving] & most important,your Right Foot,i could get 11km/L easily on my M240i[In line 6 Engine],while some of my Friends get only 7Km/L.

Also the car is not very tall, and so will make one looks taller in person.

Agree, a3 is going for 135k right now. At 155k, i would take a3 over the 116i any day since its still BBA but thats me 🙂 the mild hybrid really give the pick-up a good boost

imho, 116I is a good option only if the price is lower. But from SGcarmart, the OMV already 30kish leow. So I tink its not going be cheaper anytime.

At this price point, the Passats, the Camries, the Mazda 6 would be more value buy. Size different too. Lol.

Not all are like that.

There are some who likes IL6 + RWD in a small body.

Some buy becoz they also like that size. Not too big. Lifestyle car for them in a way too.

Badge a bonus though for many.

If molah not a issuse, I would seriously consider these hot-hatches for my wife. Lol.
