Watwheels Supersonic July 16, 2021 Share July 16, 2021 (edited) Call up and ask this shop. They carry many Bosch wipers. https://www.facebook.com/concordeauto/ I dont find Bosch wipers good in terms of durability. I also dont like the connection. It is bulky, tall and ugly. Not very aerodynamic as well. 😛 I am now using this autobacs brand, frameless as well. I bought it from an esso kiosk. $20 for the long one. $18-19 for the short one. Online will be cheaper. So far this is lasting well. The connection is not bulky and it comes with many connectors. Edited July 16, 2021 by Watwheels

I am using Piaa silicone wipers, I think coming 3 years already. Still very good. But I spend about $120. Iirc. But I think worth it. I always say there are 3 things inside the car cannot save one. Tyres, brakes and wipers. As long as it is for your safety, you shouldn't scrimp on it. 1

t0y0ta Supercharged July 16, 2021 Share July 16, 2021 Why need to change whole wiper? Is actually very easy to slide out and change the rubber strip. The OEM wiper (metal and spring parts) that comes with the car can last the lifetime of the car and is of very high quality. The replacement (misc brands) quality are usually lower and may not fit well. I get original wiper rubber from stockist (~$20) and change out every year.

I bought one set and used for 8 years until I scrapped my car. Edited July 16, 2021 by Jamesc

Plus I find that a silicone wiper is more bang for the buck in the long run. If you change car every few years, then shouldn't get a silicone. But poor man like me, will drive until the car is scrap, so I find it more worth it to use a silicone wiper. The difference is not a performance, all wipers just clear water for us to see clearer. The difference is longevity.
Ika_tomas 1st Gear July 19, 2021 Share July 19, 2021 Question - Why do you guys buy all these branded wipers? If your wiper is stock, the rubber should be DIY replaceable? Just buy the refills from Taobao/Online and change yourself? Like maybe for $4 bucks a piece or something like that? Only for the rear wiper probably need to buy the whole assembly. Refill you can get after-market Taobao or more expensive originals from your brand stockist. Rear wiper also can just change rubber alone.
Jamesc Hypersonic July 19, 2021 Share July 19, 2021 Last time I bought I think it was Crystal silicon from an ad in SgKiaForum $20 a piece including a nice lady that fitted it for me. Lasted me 8 years.

I'm using this also, changed from few sets of Bosch Aerotwins which doesn't last long avg 6-8mths I changed. Used this for the first time and lasted close to a year. Only issue is initial wipes was noisy, after that suddenly went off.

The sound should come from the protectant. then afterwhich, the wipers will works like what it should be. 🙂
