Hello. Did anyone opt for the panoramic sunroof and or ventilated seats? How do you find them? Did you need to tint the sunroof to reduce heat? Do the seats provide a good draft or cooling effect?

I am not wealthy enough to buy a 5 Series with these Options,but i ordered a Camry Hybrid with it,the Seats are Great in our Hot Weather,the Panoramic Sunroof,during the Mid Day,need to close the Blind.

@ER-3682 Do you feel closing the blind sufficient? Did you tint the roof?

 

Between the two, which would you consider to have improved your quality of life more?

Closing the Blind is enough....Ventilated Seats a much better Option,as my Camry SL both Options came as Standard....i never Tint my Sunroof & Windows.

If BMW Charge on each Option,i would say don't opt for the Sunroof,at least you know it won't leak Water in the Future when the Rubber Seal harden.

That didn't occur to me. But it's just a glass roof which cannot open so I think it shouldnt have a leakage problem?

My understanding of BMW is that Driving Assistant without Plus is just dumb cruise control with no Steering and Lane Control Assistant. At this level, you still have Automatic Emergency Braking with Collision Detection, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Monitor, Traffic Sign Info etc. 

Driving Assistant Plus usually added in Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go, plus Steering and Lane Control Assistant, Traffic Jam Assistant. 

Driving Assistant Professional is including whatever Driving Assistant Plus had plus extended Traffic Jam Assistant, Highway Assistant, Auto Lane Change and 1 more that I can't remember off-hand.
