This year song and video is really good, might be the best so far, not so cheesy with a nice synth feel tempo and great heart warming animation, bring hope to this current depressed covid situation.

Yup i love the animation. Makes everything look fresh.

I'm not crying, you're crying.

This COVID19 has really worn all of us down and this piece hit a lot of people right in the feels.

wah piang, Count on me Singapore, Stand up For singapore are songs from 35-40 years ago.

It's just a fact that old people like old songs of their era cos when you listened to the song when you are in your younger years, it produced more dopamine and hence your brain attaches more emotional significance to those memory circuits involving Count/Stand up [laugh]
It's not that you can't like newer songs as you age or young people cannot appreciate old songs. But it certainly will have less emotional attachment.

Give our NDP Songwriters/singers a break from comparing to old songs [rolleyes][grin]

Among all the more recent years NDP songs, actually i quite like 2015 NDP song 'Our Singapore' by Dick Lee. But heard many people dont really like songs composed by Dick Lee?! Lol.
