Well.. borrowing Gerrard's famous words... We go again... albeit next season..

After all we are the only team (& maybe Chelsea) who experienced the full burden of going for Quadruple.

We know its important to have 5 or 6 strikers (minimum 3 wide forwards), maybe we need 6 midfielders (2 DMs) , 2 RBs, 2LBs, 4 CBs and 2 good goalies to have a proper shot at the quadruple next yr.

Lets enjoy the ride while we can...

We go again... on and on

Klopp announced his contract extension too early, but if he didn't out title challenge may not reach final day 😜

final day: would have prefer shitty to go 2-0 in the first 5 mins of the match... its the hope that kills u... esp in with less than 20 mins left in the match

we instead of anyone else have one more match and one more shot of glory! lets go for our no 7!

i for one, am really happy we already won 2 cups and challenge for title on final day and with a chance to extend our English domination of European Cups!

Last but no least: Thank You Divork Origi. Legend is not an understatement for our super sub! YNWA

YouTube video take it as pinch of salt.

Similar to liuz Diaz mode. Nibble quick and love to shoot from distance.

With William Carvalho and Harvey Elliott in the squad, I wonder if Klopp is thinking of a system change in the squad since both these players are probably more comfortable in the traditional no.10 position as opposed to a no.8 or a wide forward. Just reading into this development.

I still think we need to reinforce the midfield area now that Hendro, Thiago and Milner are well over 30 yr old.  In this late stage of the season, Hendro is looking very leggy and is probably not wise to play 2 full games per week. Fabinho also picks up the odd knock or hamstring injury from time to time. So, we should look into getting another orthodox no.8 who can play the no.6 role.

Although Origi is now gone, our forward line still looks relatively well-stocked if Klopp chooses to retain all of them.

(edited)

Kylian Mbappe has revealed he spoke to Liverpool about a potential transfer before committing to Paris-Saint-Germain.

Mbappe spoken to klopp before signing psg extension.

Imo if you ask me I wouldn't want him near us at all. Such scandalous transfer saga making RM as a leverage for contract negotiation platform. 🤔

Our last video at home this season.

Maybe is just me. Either the editing or really the tense/pressure have gotten into the players (whole team) I don't sense any joyous, or cheeky moments relative to previous videos shown.  It felt a sense of sadness permeated the whole team. Hope they can pick themselves up quickly.

Congratulation to Jurgen Norbert Klopp  [bounce2]

Yahoo news Jurgen Klopp named Premier League Manager of the Season after Liverpool’s quadruple bid

Jurgen Klopp has been named Premier League Manager of the Season after Liverpool’s stunning campaign.

The Reds have already won the FA Cup and Carabao Cup this season, and have a Champions League final to look forward to on Saturday when they face Real Madrid in Paris.

An historic quadruple will still on the cards until the very final day of the Premier League season, when Manchester City scored three goals in a five-minute spell against Aston Villa to retain the title in dramatic fashion.

The Liverpool boss paid tribute to his coaching staff as he received the award and insisted his players have already moved on from their league disappointment.

“It is a great honour and it was an insane season,” Klopp said.

“The last matchday when only two games were meaningless and in the rest, we all played for absolutely everything.

“It was not the best outcome for us, but we are already over it.

“When you win a prize like this you are either a genius or you have the best coaching staff in the world - and I am here with all of my coaching staff, they know how much I appreciate them.”

Klopp also picked up the League Managers Association award too, which was presented by Sir Alex Ferguson. The Manchester United legend joked it was “absolute agony” to hand over the award and celebrate Liverpool’s success.

Sigh... god of soccer is still cruel... to Pool.

If never let AV go 2-up till 70+ min, still never raised the hopes so high... then just as you thought finally, so luck lai liao... it went away quickly...

Anyway, it has been a great journey. Wouldn't have thought it would be so good before the start of the season, but having come this far, had hope to win everything...

Now, must hope the boys get this out of the system quickly, and beat RM convincingly in the UCL Final. Won't be an easy game, but hope we get our revenge.

Pity that Thiago is out of it, as his skill and experience would have been invaluable. Now is left to the rest to step up and make it a memorable ending - everytime we missed narrowly on premier league, will need UCL to console us 😄
