Latio2005A Turbocharged December 14, 2021 Share December 14, 2021 @Jamesc actually not simple with all the complicated exclusions and restrictions all self imposed. The pots hence had to be adjusted along the way. Agree anyway at this level mistakes should not occur. ↡ Advertisement
Fooblack Supercharged December 14, 2021 Share December 14, 2021 Pool probably got the worse of the re-drawn ties. Inter Milan will definitely prove to be more challenging than Salzburg. But Pool still the overwhelming favorites to overcome Inter over 2 legs due to the current gulf between the standards of the 2 leagues. Both times, Utd got drawn into tough fixtures... not sure which is tougher PSG or Atletico. Guess Pool's case isn't the worst case. City's draw becomes much kinder with Sporting Lisbon..
Gizmore Supercharged December 14, 2021 Share December 14, 2021 Honestly, all other teams will want to avoid Liverpool. Liverpool is currently the on-form team.

Jamesc Hypersonic December 14, 2021 Share December 14, 2021 How is Klopp going to hug Karim Adeyemi and tell him he will be at Pool next season like this when he won't be at Anfield?
Daryllim1969 3rd Gear December 14, 2021 Share December 14, 2021 Just my two cents worth. Drawing Inter Milan or RB Salzburg is fine as long as we don't draw against Spanish Teams. Inter Milan brand of football may be physical, but they lack speed and their technical skills is not as good as English football. So on that end, I think Liverpool will come away fine against Inter Milan. Of the draw, I think Man U had the worst luck. First, it was against PSG. Redraw and they end up with Atletico Madrid. Of the two, I think PSG's game suits Man U better. Atletico is likely to sit back and defend waiting on the counter attack. Atletico's defense is also more discipline as compared to PSG who loves to go on the front foot. Chelsea seems to have drawn well against Lille but mind you, Lille is top of Group G against the likes of Salzburg, Sevilla and Wolfsburg. They do have something in their tanks to cause an upset against the defending champs. Man City should come out tops against Sporting Lisbon over two legs. BM against Salzburg will be interesting but I guess BM should come out tops. Then we have RM against PSG, anyone's game but I think RM may pull off a surprise here. PSG is good at going forward but the set up is lopsided.

Last time i would rank chelsea among the team to avoid also But not now after their recent performance.
