Money may not be the motivation, especially Cayenne S Hybrid.

To get $20 net for hitch, need to drive from Woodlands to CBD.

That's true.

Driving grab can be an excuse to simply drive the car, instead of driving around aimlessly. Already paid for the car and tax, might as well clock a few hundred clicks on it haha.

Because when sending kids to tuitions, I will be like $5 carpark, $7 flappucinno and $5 cheese cake, and rotting aways 3hr in Starbuck watching netlix.
So, took my grabhitch earnings and she goes Lady M for afternoon tea.

3 hours, can do 4 trips if you are lucky and proper planning.

That will be $50 nett of Grab Commissions.

lol sometimes I drink hot milo at kopitiam also reluctant. Just bring my water and sit down deep inside. got AC and not very noisy. 

Albeit it's early morning, so not hogging any seats.

Actually, if really want to do some sideline, you can try make friend with counter-staff in mid-upper to high-end hotels to take bookings for those business/upper-tier travellers going to airport to go back.  They discuss arrangements and pricings with the travellers, then liaise you to standby and look out for their bookings in-app. They collect payments from travellers, take their share of cut, and u get the balance which can still be two to three times higher than stated. Sometimes, these travellers even gave tips at the end. Anyway, these travellers don't care much about these expenses as long as you deliver them alright to airport.

But driver took the legitimate bookings via the app. 
I don't think it matters if the bookings are done on behalf of. And driver didn't explicitly and directly ask passengers for monetary payments.
The whole trip is considered illegal ??

Grabhitch always have booking to airport.  The take is usually higher.

I avoid it as i don't want to roam around airport.

I always like to drive from southern part of Singapore (excl Sentosa) to Northern part of Singapore.

That will optimise my drive.
