Probably one of Singapore's biggest mess affecting all Singaporean that came from a bunch of itchy kkj.

Historian need to write this down for future how itchy kkj can bring down a country.

Not unique though, like the greek war involving Trojan horse also started by itchy kkj

I am thinking could it be the fish port had been the source? Fish port related case now looks huge by daily number but transmission rate may be slower, while ktv may transmit faster due to the proximity.

Does that calculation sounds mathematical?

Wow got grant somemore.... no wonder can set up a kitchen. But seriously, the real restaurants have to pay for this setup. Something is really wrong. REALLY.

Its like paying a pirate a fee for them to go legit.

Who is the wise guy who dish out food license to the KTV operators? They are no restaurateurs, they have no proper kitchen, they have no exhaust. Yet sell food means can pivot....my foot! Have not heard of anyone who goes to a KTV to eat dinner.

Ultimately gahman has to be responsible for this fiasco. The victims are the real legit restaurants.

Gahment to be responsible? Lets forgive and forget and move on please as usual. 😂

Possible - every night many fishing boats crewed by Indons and Malaysians dock to sell their catch. They could infect the buyers who then go KTVs and infect the poor vietbus and the story continues till the poor satay man.

It looks like the main message of OYK's post is to distance the South Asians from the current blown up clusters - CECA 万岁!

Not surprising some of these KTV businesses are fishy

KTV and Jurong Fishery Port COVID-19 clusters are 'linked': Ong Ye Kung

"Our scientists are conducting the phylogenetic studies. Both clusters are linked," said Mr Ong in a Facebook post.

"Genetically, they differ from the Delta variant that infected Tan Tock Seng Hospital and Changi Airport, but are closer to what we have detected in imported cases from Indonesia."

Studies were ongoing and the Ministry of Health (MOH) would explain its findings to the public when there were more conclusive results, said Mr Ong.

Based on what's written in the article, quickly first priority is to absolve themselves of the first fiasco of opening floodgates and not monitoring the incoming properly

"Genetically, they differ from the Delta variant that infected Tan Tock Seng Hospital and Changi Airport, "

"...closer to what we have detected in imported cases from Indonesia."

Big question is how on earth did we manage to import this from indonesia? FDWs?? And they are more likely to do marketing, therefore spreading it to the wet markets??? Then it would mean that the current regime of screening incoming FDW is also woefully inadequate.
