with the advance of air travel, virus also go all over the places, and infect much more people, effectively overwhelm whatever advantages we think we may have....

Previously travel was limited. Everything was quite easily localised. Congestion not as bad as today.

Take heart though that majority of those cases are already quarantined and still from the big cluster at the airport. Not clear whether the hospital cluster has stabilized but seems like.
