Well it negates the weight savings brought about by a lighter rim. As to why people pay huge amounts for a forged light rim. Please go ask them.
anyway I drive a low cc low Powered car. Rim and tire weights are easily felt.

never try 004 b4.

but base on old experience from 001-003 potenza give a more stiff ride. from the hardside wall. also more noisy

aysm softer and more quiet(slightly more comfort base abit)

both should have enough dry grip for u to wack on sg road. potenza should have a slight advantage on dry grip

The dry grip of the potenza are indeed better than the A5.
A5 a more softer tire

if Bridgestone and Goodyear same price and from AD, I'll pick Bridgestone.

Am on Goodyear cos that time RE003 OOS and price of fresh GY F1A5 was like $30 (each) cheaper than my previous RE003s.

S007a is a great tire, but wear rate is high-depends on how u drive also la
ASSy 5 is an all around tire - great value

(edited)

My RE003 lasted 40000km, decided to change to RE004 as I got a hole and went to AL. The lady said tyre not good anymore.

Changed at yap brothers @ 95 for R15 195/55. I find it is quieter then RE003, turn in better. Less than 300km now.

Rushing for time as I wanted a quick fix to my leaking tyres. I think Yap brothers have the cheapest RE004.

Actaully I rather the cars have budget tyre than bald tyres. Sometimes at parking lots see some of the cars tyres condition, wanna to faint.
