FC and performance for drivers

I used to bother about FC... and then I realised if I bothered so much about the FC of my car, it takes away the fun in driving it.

Psychologically, I try to wash my car weekly to instil into it a sense of pride and persuade it not to execessively drink the petrol away in sorrow or shame...

U drive less not equal to the coe meter stop clocking. Your per annual depreciation still rolls ..

Rather, just switch to a different model of ownership. Dont buy car and rent or lease...

Use the money for passive income like reit or etf may yield more savings

IMHO.
Use wax or advanced coating.  Helps with the aerodynamics.

Tricks ah. I think now car makers have install panels underneath the car such that the underside is flushed. It creates less drag and helps with better airflow under the car to give better FE (fuel economy). But when it comes to servicing it is a bit more work to remove them to access to the engine.

I think everything will have its pros and cons. To me there's always some kind of compromise. To many factors to consider when it comes to FE.

For my car,  near the tyres, there are some regular plastics ( can't recall the name ) to improve air flow.  Wonder if got aftermarket parts.
Everything is pro and cons.

I recall watching a video on the review of the latest Toyota Supra. The reviewer realised that some of the plastics covering some air ducts can be removed to improve airflow to the engine or to the wheels. But at the expense of drag of course.

Those more luxurious and expensive car will have what active air dampers to open and close the ducts at different speeds.

Car also makes a difference. Sadly it's about what you can afford. LoL...

Actually I felt like putting aero fins on the body. .  Just not sure if effective or not.

Was thinking of buying a picanto recently but health still cannot make it, so just BMW for now :XD:

Don't dare to let my wife drive, she fast and furious, like go USS everyday; heart can't take it.

That's very practical and true.

We'll all come to a point where we cannot drive due to health or various reasons.

Need to let go

Take a closer look.

Rivets to secure bumper, paint flaking and peeling and discoloured all over the place, headlamps are yellow, window films are cloudy, seatbelts badly frayed, the interior looks like a habitat to a zillion microbes.

Where got nice?

This dealer seriously bochap...can put up a car in this condition for sale.

Aiya, saw that, not buying this. If I'm not wrong, no more new picanto for SG right?

My wife and I kind of like vintage cars but now can't drive anyway.
