no matter what, it is what it is ... there is No 1 and No 2 driver to assist and be backup to cheong

Lewis, Bottas

Max, Perez

Leclerc, Sainz (this one now abit unclear liao since Leclerc performance no good) ... lol

No 1 get highest priority ... No 2 got the chance to shine when No 1 crash out or DNF engine piang

No 2 importance only emerge when there is a chance to be champion else the opportunity is always given to No 1

when you got 2 drivers feel they are equal ... problem start liao

The rules don't say "all", they say "any" and likely any that the race director dictates don't interfere with the race at the front. I don't think Mercedes have a valid appeal.

This is what the stewards said, the race director basically has full control of the safety car and terms under it.

"Fool me once, shame on you. Shame me twice, shame on me"...... Guaranteed that Mercedes will take this in and learn. They'll screw with FIA next time.

@Blueray I rather think Lewis will bend to accommodate George. Call it a dignified hand over of the generations now that Max beat him? If Lewis respects Michael Schumacher as much as he says he does, he'll walk away with equal titles now after getting beat. It's a good time to be George and it would be better for Lewis to come out saying he'll help the team and George. He won't, but he should.

Sportsman like Lewis race for his legacy , honour and glory not for Mercedes succession planning or his team. He join Mercedes for partnership for success. If he really care about the team he would have stay in Mac ? Since Mc groom him in their driver program  since young and Mc was still reasonably good when Lewis left.

I feel Lewis will race like how he race since 2007 with any partners driver until he retire that is his DNA, that made him 7 time world champ.

he won’t let himself be another Alonso 🤫😬

Appeal would make Mercedes look like bad losers, says Ecclestone

  Quote

"It is a complete and utter nonsense," Ecclestone told Sky Sports News of the suggestion Hamilton was cheated.

"I think it'd be the worst thing they could do," the 91-year-old said of going forward with the appeal. "I mean, looks like they're bad losers."

The Briton also said Masi had done "the right thing" and should not be blamed.

Actually this is what i find very interesting. RB argued that "any" is not the same as "all". But i can't think of any situation where "any" does not indeed mean "all".

Eg1: Anyone who fails the test (qualifier) must retake the test. This means ALL who fail must retake.

Eg2: Any fully vaccinated Singaporean can now go to Malaysia by land VTL  vs All fully vaccinnated Singaporeans can now go to Malaysia by land VTL. Is there a difference between "any" and "all" in the 2 sentences?

https://www.fia.com/news/statement-fia-world-motor-sport-council

The circumstances surrounding the use of the Safety Car following the incident of driver Nicholas Latifi, and the related communications between the FIA Race Direction team and the Formula 1 teams, have notably generated significant misunderstanding and reactions from Formula 1 teams, drivers and fans, an argument that is currently tarnishing the image of the Championship and the due celebration of the first Drivers' World Championship title won by Max Verstappen and the eighth consecutive Constructors' World Championship title won by Mercedes.

Following the presentation of a report regarding the sequence of events that took place following the incident on Lap 53 of the Grand Prix and in a constant drive for improvement, the FIA President proposed to the World Motor Sport Council that a detailed analysis and clarification exercise for the future with all relevant parties will now take place.

This matter will be discussed and addressed with all the teams and drivers to draw any lessons from this situation and clarity to be provided to the participants, media, and fans about the current regulations to preserve the competitive nature of our sport while ensuring the safety of the drivers and officials
