Current wind direction haze doesn't seem come from Indonesia.

More like a localised trap dusk and particles as no rain for the past few weeks already.

The air outside looks hazy when I woke up this morning. There's a burnt smell lingering in the air.

From http://asmc.asean.org/home/    this is what I can see from last Saturday's hotspot map with wind direction. Seems there were a few hot spots just west of KLIA.

Look like from Malaysia or Thailand.

Definitely not from Indonesia.

askST: Is the slight burning smell in parts of S’pore over the past few days due to haze?

The smell of something burning is often associated with worsening air quality and transboundary haze, but this may not always be the case, said the National Environment Agency (NEA) on Tuesday (March 2). It added that such smells could come from a variety of sources, including local and regional fires, and may be more pronounced during certain periods of the day due to weather conditions.

Say like never say. NEA's replies is as foggy as the haze condition.  :darkmood:
