I will go for Hitachi if that's the case. I don't think they make their own TV anymore, but with their years of expertise, I am sure the colour calibrations for the TV will be superb!

i bought the 55 inch Q series in Jan as my SS 40 inch of 12 years gave up on me.....probably need to spend a few hundred to fix might as well spend on a new one.

value for money - as i guess we don't watch a lot of TVs nowadays...kids all working, just wifey and myself - and i catching my K drama on Netflix...

I would say darn good for that price, and can't compare to my 12 yr old tv....good enuff for a few hundred bucks. I think if can last 10 yrs, I'll be happy..

LG 55" warranty 3 years $899

Seems more reliable than prism

If not maybe go best denki see see Samsung oso
