Had my final jab earlier tonight.

This time can feel a slight ant bite but still considered very mild.

Other than the 30mins observation window, from registration to actual 💉 was less than 5 mins 👍

On way out, took 2 bottles of water and  was given a bag containing 1 x 500ml Hand Sanitiser and 1 Reusable Mask.

Took 1 of this sticker for fun. Was asking the staff jokingly whether it can scare the Covid-19 virus and further protect wearer and she replied "she also wished it can". 😂😂

Stay safe all.

Cheers

The staff didn't know the secret of the sticker. Tiap on forehead, power immediately x100. 🤣

😅😅😅 U tried and it worked?

Like those car stickers, paste 1 can get 5 bhp?

"The tiap on forehead" reminds me of those Chinese vampire movies of how the taoist priest use talismans on vampires to prevent them hopping all over the place. Damn powderful.

Stay safe

Cheers

https://www.straitstimes.com/asia/east-asia/chinas-sinovac-covid-19-vaccine-found-highly-effective-in-real-world-study

Quote

JAKARTA (BLOOMBERG) - Sinovac Biotech Ltd's vaccine is wiping out Covid-19 among health workers in Indonesia, an encouraging sign for the dozens of developing countries reliant on the controversial Chinese shot, which performed far worse than Western vaccines in clinical trials.

Indonesia tracked 25,374 health workers in capital city Jakarta for 28 days after they received their second dose and found that the vaccine protected 100 per cent of them from death and 96 per cent from hospitalisation as soon as seven days after, said Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin in an interview on Tuesday (May 11). The workers were tracked until late February.

But the real-world examples also show that the Sinovac shot's ability to quell outbreaks requires the vast majority of people to be vaccinated, a scenario that developing countries with poor health infrastructure and limited access to shots cannot reach quickly.

https://www.straitstimes.com/singapore/health/the-coronavirus-that-causes-covid-19-has-mutated-more-than-6600-times

Quote

SINGAPORE - The Sars-CoV-2 virus that sparked the Covid-19 pandemic has undergone more than 6,600 unique spike protein mutations, said Dr Sebastian Maurer-Stroh, executive director of the Bioinformatics Institute at the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*Star).

Viruses mutate whenever there is a "mistake" in the replication process. This could result from an addition, a deletion or a change to its genetic code.

If that mistake increases its survival prospects, more copies of that "wrong" replication will survive, and sometimes overwhelm the original version.

For example, the D614G mutation which started to rise sharply in February last year is now found in all samples of the virus, no matter which variant they are.

Because this variant became so pervasive, it was given a clade name - or family group - of its own, and is designated as G clade.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) says that while the G clade has increased infectivity and transmission, the illness it causes is not more severe, nor does it affect diagnostics, treatment or vaccines.

This G clade and its sub clades - which include GRY, a clade named for the UK variant B117 in July last year - have accounted for practically all Covid-19 infections since the middle of last year, totally displacing the original virus that emerged in Wuhan.

Might just be the difference for those vaccine hesitant people.

During SARS all the hotel coffee house all empty. Everyone say don't want to risk their life.

Then one for one buffet at the hotels and suddenly all full.

One for one buffet and everyone don't cares about risking life when save money!

:D

In USA they give a free beer, the take up rate is fantastic.

The beer running out faster than the vaccine.

Israel, one of the most vaccinated countries in the world.

They even send some to Gaza. Now that Hamas is shooting rockets into Israel, anyone thinks Israel will stop their gifting. [:p]

Sinovac only do export?
