Sinkies love to criticise AMDK countries for their open racism (and especially their violent racism). 

But I've always maintained that Singapore has a much deeper, much more serious, and far more insidious undercurrent of racism, bigotry, hatred and antisocial personality disorder running through it. It is only the extreme repression of our de facto police state that keeps the actual violence to a minimum.

Already, despite our ridiculously draconian anti-free speech laws, you see so much racist and religiously inflammatory vitriol being spewed online by Sinkies. I've always maintained that if we had even 10 percent of the freedom that Americans have (especially in terms of civilian access to firearms), we would have bloodshed that would cause even AMDK to grow queasy at the horror of it all.

Fundamentally, we are a very sick society, barely held together by social engineering and repressive enforcement. Not openly addressing these serious issues like an ostrich with its head in the sand just causes them to become much larger problems. 

I hate being proven right.
