Motorists beware

Due to the rain?

I usually report to one service app n the patch is done within the day or two days

But the weather has been erratic of late so not sure if that's affecting road patches

Too many to count.

I avoid 10 and hit 1.

LTA should just go around and mark them out themselves. There are so many.

dun like that lah... there are hundreds of km of roads in Singapore

the long lasting rain causes more potholes and make it difficult to repair them (i assume need to repair in dry conditions, just like painting)

This is nothing compared to potholes in the US. My rental car on high profile 17 inch tires suffered a tweaked rim consisting of two dents and two failed sidewalls.

In any case this is wear and tear and “poor maintenance” is more like being overmatched due to potholes forming because of bad weather faster than they can repair them.

Drive carefully, look where you’re going and use the Waze app to report potholes as you see them.

Like that cannot le, if vehicles hit those potholes and tyre burst, who is going to compensate the repair cost? 😅

This is on ECP towards the airport. There was also a cluster of big ones between this and the entry before. I have reported it on Sun night. Last I passed by last night, I think it has been repaired.

Seems like those lanes which are frequently used by heavy vehicles and which had prior repairs done are more susceptible to damage again. Patching it up is quick and dirty but does not last. Need to dig up the whole lane and re-pave but that is too costly and time consuming.

Those who exit ECP from Rochor heading towards Suntec please note that there is an area there with recurring potholes. It's on the 2 most left lanes before you turn into Suntec City.
