Basic Theory and Final Theory plus Road Traffic Act should be pinned to threads like reckless driver.

Hi mods like @RadX, @Carbon82, @kobayashiGT and the rest,

I was thinking that for some threads, we argue base on our opinions and what we learned in school. I realise a lot of the arguments stem based on experience rather than what the school actually teaches as as the years go by, even the teaching might change.  So I am thinking, can we pin the latest version of BTT, FTT and RTA on certain threads so that if we want to argue or give our two cents, we have a common reference point?

It might also be helpful for people reading the forum because they might not know where to look for it, phone no memory etc etc.

My two cents.

Do you have the latest version of the BTT and FTT?

I think one issues is that it will always be updated from time to time, so need some housekeeping along the way.

But I like the idea to have BTT and FTT inside MCF, can attract car learners to engage in our forum too. 🙂

I don't.  I mean I have a Googled pdf version but it might not be the latest version.

Cant attach also cos only photographs can be attached.  Not documents.

So I only can show screenshots of individual pages if I need to but it's very tedious.  And no source (can't link image to actual BTT link).

This might help but it requires a download and you can't read directly from here (and copy and paste).

Liddat, motorbikes basically always at least partly to blame when they're involved because *no* riding course ever taught them to split lanes. But they will say TP never said cannot and TP bikes also split lanes!

And a police car once argued they are ok when caught on STOMP in a yellow box cos they weren't blocking traffic. Then how? Theory says cannot, law says cannot but they ownself exonerate ownself. How?

But it's already online..... and it's not used for commercial reasons (I think posting here does not count as commercial reasons?)

I would have thought copyright issues would be like if someone scanned the books and upload..

But yea need legal experts on this

@Carbon82

The average person might not be able to interprete it correctly but with everyone looking at the same source, easier for discussion rather than "I was taught this way", "last time this was done"  and it goes in circles.

And I was actually thinking if it could be pinned on reckless drivers also :D cos then we know if the driver was really flouting the law, being ungracious or the one who took the video was actually wrong.  Would be good learning for all.
