The $8 do come with data roaming from my understanding.

thanks for the reminder that i have this sim card, i just check my account and realised that they didn't bill me for August and not sure how their billing and payment work although i left my credit card detail in the account   

then i try the line and it was not working, couldn't call and no data, but sms works??   send them whatsapp and the guy also duno ask me to email to the helpline 

lucky this is the spare line for my tablet and i hardly bring it outdoor hence forgotten about it  

Unlike the other telco who have their own apps to monitor and make payment, this one seriously can close shop

Good strategy if give 3 months free no need payment system yet.

Nope, M1 still not that good, I've ported many times. Singtel - Starhub - M1 then Simba in terms of connectivity.

I've ported my first (20 yr old from ex-company) line to eight. It started life as new from m1, then ported to Singtel, SH, Simba.

It should stay at eight for the long future ahead, unless something changes.  😁

$7-8 plan is really insanely cheap.. can't imagine ppl are still paying $60-100/mth stinktel plans.

currently eight has zero support so pray nothing happen that need their help/support, whatsapp chat standard bot reply, ask you to email to their helpme line, then no reply from them, even my account on their website cannot link to my plan 

since that was my spare line and they have stop it due to no recharge that is no fault on me, i can start looking for another cheap telco line again

There are still many people still paying such $50-60 per month hp plan and they still feel that no need to change and ok to pay such price for a hp plan. Some of these people even comment that those $10 hp plan no good. Lol.

I'm on RedOne Best10 plan - juz $10.90 p/m. 4G now - speed is good - 5GB roaming in MY - very good. I got 5G signal while in Aeon area. Local 200GB data with 500 mins of voice calls out. Best deal liao! Go take a look.

Even 20 is too ex with no free roaming. Switched 3 lines out from stuckhub.

8 dollars. Even to hire a CSO from Phillipines also need how many plans to break even on one salary...

Pay for people's phone plan and the go for the most expensive plans.

Give $100 phone allowance and they go for $25 or even $8 plan.

I got a "new" line for my wife from one MVNO  So I try to install Whatsapp, but it wouldn't work.

Bcuz it's a recycled number and the previous owner had activated 2FA. So every time, activation will go to his/her email, which we obviously have no access. After much ding-dong back and forth, the solution is to disconnect that service and get another line. I think the problem is caused by Whatsapp.
