So today decided to retain the number and upgrade to the cheapest $8 plan. 😁 Now I am holding 2 line pay lines with eight. Gradually will migrate all my lines away from zero. Coverage is acceptable then, I suppose? We got an email from Circles.Life "upgrading" my son's $0 1GB line he's had since secondary, to $5 20GB. CL is his number registered with SingPass, Poly etc. plus we have $10 Simba for data. Now from CL email, we can consolidate on one SIM since we cannot use Simba for calls - his phone is not 5G or otherwise suitable and, for sure, I'm not spending on a new one. zipping Supersonic August 26, 2024 Share August 26, 2024 https://www.hardwarezone.com.sg/tech-news-m1-new-maxx-plan-local-roaming-data-price M1 releases a new Maxx plan with 199GB of local and 9GB of roaming data for S$7.90 By Ken Wong - on 26 Aug 2024, 1:37pm M1 has just announced a new SIM only Maxx plan priced at S$7.90 a month. There is a catch though, you have to port your phone number in or else if you’re a new customer, you’ll pay S$9.90 a month. But it all boils down to what you get for your S$7.90 (or S$9.90). and it does look like you get some bang for your buck! First off you get 199GB of local roaming data (M1 didn't tell us at what speeds although it is likely to be 4G), 500 minutes of local outgoing calls, 99 local SMS messages, and unlimited incoming calls. Next, like a lot of new mobile plans, M1 is including free 9GB of roaming data for Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Bangladesh, as well as 1GB of data for other countries a month. While the fine print states, “M1 Maxx will be offered at a discounted rate of S$7.90 for 12 billing cycles (i.e. months)”, M1 say that there is no lock-in period. More information about this and other M1 Maxx plans are available here. If you're not interested in changing your current phone plan but are looking to augment it with roaming data options, consider signing up for eSIM options, which we've compared here. 2

A bit stingy lah. Only 1GB for the more developed countries. Can skip!

Always very attractive package but very very poor network. Its a pity really.
Ray7456 3rd Gear August 26, 2024 Share August 26, 2024 No free caller ID in the bundle which is norm now. Add the cost of that & its may not be attractive
