Jamesc Hypersonic June 23, 2024 Share June 23, 2024 Is 8 the $8 the best plan today? 188GB of local data, 8GB of APAC roaming, 1GB of worldwide roaming, 88 minutes of free local talk time and SMS messages, and 288 IDD minutes for everyone.

Expand IMHO. The best plan is the one that works for you. There are 4 MVO - Singtel, Starhub, M1 and Simba. Except for Simba, the rest all have MVNOs. E.g. Which is better ? Heya.SG 4G under Singtel network shared with a few others MVNOs or Simba using their non-share exclusive network ? Both $10. Simba 4G download 1.68 Mbps upload 2.66 Mbps Heya 4G download 120 Mbps upload 20.6 Mbps Of course hearsay Simba is better than Heya on some MRT lines. If one drives, will be affected ? I know someone will just got M1 ... M1 supposing should be quite bad, but so far, no issue for that person. 🤣 P.S. TPG 100 Gb - I've a hard time finish using it. If near Mall or MRT, I heard Simba speed quite ok.

Jamesc Hypersonic June 23, 2024 Share June 23, 2024 I think it's system programming. First they program 2GB then marketing say need 5 because of competition. IT says not so easy just change system from 2 to 5. So work around is 2 + 3 and it's like that lah. Next time marketing says 10 will be 2 + 3 + 5. 1

Expand Their $12 plan is quite new n initially came w 2GB roaming. Maybe not enuf USP so shortly after, they upped it to 5GB. Now suddenly MCFers start porting over....lol But I tink hor once they get enuf sign on, it's to gib themselves flexibility to omit either the 3GB or 2GB batch.
