I am currently on $10/ month Heya which doesn't have auto-roam or data-roam to places like India and China.  My Heya SIM telephone number is also the one which is tied to my WhatsApp.

If I need to go India or China and need to be contact by my heya telephone number, access to WhatsApp and internet, what are the options available?  I need to set up all these first before leaving Singapore, not using what is available outside Singapore.

My old phone doesn't have e-SIM, just normal 2 slots for SIM card.

Heya is w singtel? U can chk w them whether st smartroam is enabled on ur plan, my zero1/zym (on st network) hav them enabled natively when i signed up. Tats for calls & sms (to ur local number)

For data, airsim as some bros here mentioned b4, or get a icc sim card (get online or simlim tower). If wan calls/sms within said country, there might b options w these sim card also (need chk).

Once u hav data (doesnt matter fr same hp number sim card or not, wifi also can), whatsapp is no longer an issue.

Whatsapp no need your phone 

Just use linked devices on any device.

Just use QR code from your phone.

No mentioning of which telco network it is tied to.

It says free for the first 88 days, then what happen after that? But this new plan is $8, not easy to find phone plan below $10. Cheapest now think still from zero1 which is $7.06.

Best is 8GB roaming. Most are giving 1 or 2gb only. Good for JB regulars.

I've signed up for interest. Worse case pay $8 for 188GB.

RF network is Starhub, so it's as good as Singtel. If m1, I'd be a bit undecided. Even SIMBA coverage is quite ok right now.

But probably wiser, not to port your important number over, until everything is settled later on.

Currently, the S$8 plan allows subscribers to enjoy 188GB of local data, 8GB of APAC roaming, 1GB of worldwide roaming, 88 minutes of free local talk time and SMS messages, and 288 IDD minutes for everyone.

The 8gb of apac roaming per month or for 88 days?

I just ported out m1, cannot make it la. I've use changi mobile previously, no improvements.

88 days is for the free one, the $8 plan is monthly

guys, anyone here use SIMBA? I am thinking of the Superroam MY plan which is like $30/first 90 days and then $39/90days therefter.

I have few questions:

1) How is their coverage? Under basement all these ok? 

2) When abroad (say in MY) , can I call people in SG and can people in SG call me?

3) When abroad, can receive SMS from SG?

Just signed up the free 88 days. 

I see that they have yet to launch the retail package. In future does it mean I can continue with the free 88 days line with my port in number? Any idea?

Can't compare a relatively new telco with established player like Singtel, Starhub, M1 with already many base stations setup.
