5G data roaming tried and tested in Taiwan, HK, Macau ... Japan should be OK [thumbsup]

another option is GOMO

I just switched over to Circles Life 5G under corporate incentive scheme. Good deal..especially the 2Gb data roaming to the 9 regional countries that I frequent.

I remember got some discussion before on signing up lines for kids.

got some pros and cons of signing up the kid with their own line? I don't want her to lose the number in future but she's too young to sign up for a plan?

My girl will only get her own line this year after PSLE. That's my graduation gift to her lol.

I'm on Giga. Don't seem to have much info for what to do with kids.

Zero1 says need to be 15 years old to sign up.

my personal opinion, phone numbers these days are not as important as 1-2 generations before since people communicate more online via whatsapp/FB messaging etc

when they grow up, they can just change number to one they like and do a onetime blast to all their important contacts.

hmm that's true. I forgot that changing HP number isn't that big a deal.
As long as you still have the phone and WA account.

My entire family of 4's phone numbers were registered using my name/IC. So, my 30 years old daughter's number still belongs to her old man. Haha!

On top of ongoing anti-scam measures, IMDA will implement a new limit of 10 post-paid SIM cards per subscriber from April 15

They should be targeting pre-paid SIM instead, unless there's already a build-in limit of 1.

For post-paid should be further limited to 5.

IMHO.
If not going on the prepaid route,  got for the cheapest standalone plan.
I think Zero1 should be the cheapest so register with your name and transfer to them when they reach 15.
Also take note on the payment portion.
It is possible to get debit card for the kid as well. 🤣
