i think got ppl hacking TPG/Simba lines ... i just received a password reset email for my TPG phone account.

I doubt so. Anyone can just request a change of password.

Another thing is that if you receive a "new" phone line, it may be a recycled number and some stuff associated with that number was never cancelled.

I got my wife a "new" line with vivifi or something. But whatsapp cannot be used, bcuz the previous owner of the number did a 2-tier verification. That means if you try to activate whatsapp, it keeps sending verification to the previous owner email. 😁

Eventually we dropped the line, bcuz it was impossible to activate it.

Lucky such line no contract and can be cancel anytime. If those 2 years plan line, then become problem liao.

@Kb27 actually, this line is the "trial" line which i am still holding on to when TPG started ... so very surprised to get a reset notice.
