I can't get 5G on Simba at my location. It's limited to certain locations.

 

 

IMHO.
Mobile vs router the throughput "may" be different.  I connected my mobile directly to the router,  can't reach full speed so far.

Router added another layer of delay and throughput, so it's normal to get worse result than putting SIM directly into phone and testing it. 😁

But I didn't want to take out SIM and test again.

Depends on location and time of day and number of users latched to the cell. Each operator has their own ways to throttle or allow higher speeds.

A service ID is provided, in place of a phone number.

I use it in my router, which obviously only requires data.

I used Eight in japan. Roaming works fine. 

The auto-recharge is very easy to switch off lol.

For me, no disconnection.

In fact, I just ordered the second one, bcuz I have 2 SIM routers. 😁

However, do note that SIMBA 5G is not available everywhere. My 5G router worked fine with Simba data-only at 4G.

I started with a 4G router. Then I miscalculated, as I didn't add my tenants usage. 300GB was not going to be enough, maybe 400GB.

So I decided to buy another 5G router (with more bells and whistles, wifi 6) and add another 400GB 5G giga plan, in case the former is not enough. You know, sometimes can't resist the latest tech. 😁

Since Simba came out with the $5 data plan, I decided to keep both running, and ditch the rest; eight and giga.
