Jamesgetz 4th Gear May 12 Share May 12 Hi guys, I’ve a random question on Stinktel’s SIM only plus 30 plan which i hope someone can enlighten https://www.singtel.com/personal/products-services/mobile/postpaid-plans/simonly?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI0uKflMKHhgMVd6NmAh066wzqEAAYASAAEgINvvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1#banner1 it says “3 mths of Disney+ Premium (12-mth CT) on us”. Does it mean I have to sign a 12-month Disney+ contract as part of the Stinktel plan and 3 months is free so I need to pay remaining 9 months? If so, this is ridiculous if I don’t need Disney+ at all… if I want to stick with Stinktel network but want to have a no-frill and cheap plan, is GOMO my best option? TIA! I am thinking of the Superroam MY plan which is like $30/first 90 days and then $39/90days therefter. I have few questions: 1) How is their coverage? Under basement all these ok? 2) When abroad (say in MY) , can I call people in SG and can people in SG call me? 3) When abroad, can receive SMS from SG? I ported out from SIMBA as their coverage in my estate area especially basement is cmi. Normal activities like launching Waze and checking traffic conditions before Ieaving carpark is impossible. Do note if you're porting in your number to SIMBA you have to stay with them minimum one mth before leaving else they'll charge penalty fee.

Asking cuz I'm still on Simba and never encountered any particularly poor coverage or reception. My office building has some blind spots but I found out other telcos also has the same problem. No telco coverage is perfect, no matter how they are perceived. At one time, I drove into a condo basement to wait to pickup someone. My phone on zero1 (Singtel) reception was 0, dead. When I looked at my other phone on SIMBA it's full, I was quite surprised then.

In terms of coverage Singtel still the best, followed by Starhub, M1 then Simba based on my personal experiences, I've ported many times between telcos. Thanks, i asked Stinktel and clarified. The 12 months Disney+ subscription is not compulsory. Stinktel will just offer 3 months free if you do a 12 month subscription for Disney+

It's highly dependent on the areas you frequent in daily activities so that's why different ppl have their preferred telco that works for them. I use Waze to check traffic conditions before I leave carpark and also phone app to unlock my condo gate access - when SIMBA break these two basic functions it became a no-go for me. I was with Circles Life in the past and received an email for a 3-mth promo of $1 for 5G/4G eSIM so I ported to them thereafter. I think they're on M1 network and no issues with them in the past. So far after trying many MVNO personally I feel safest bets in terms of price and coverage are Zero1 and Vivifi both on Singtel.

Vratenza Supersonic May 18 Share May 18 Actually, with eSIM, especially of you have dual sim function phone, trying out and switching telcos is a breeze....no delivery fee/sim card fee, and no need for collection. 3
