Invest in NIO or XPENG?

There's been some hype around these 2 stocks lately from earnings. I've got enough money to invest in just one, can't decide between the two.

(p.s. I hold bit of Tesla, looking to diversify and for cheaper EV stocks)

The hype was from some time back. I'd say NIO is the bigger boy in the Chinese EV stocks and tends to lead XPEV and LI, not to mention the smaller related stocks like SOLO, FSR, NKLA, WKSH, RIDE etc. I got into NIO in the mid-20s and have scaled out some of the position, now just watching as the momentum has stalled in the mid/high 40s. Will let it go if it falls below 40, if not let's see how high it can get.

All good stocks to daytrade though, lots of volume and price action.

the flow goes like this:

Tesla, NIO, Xpeng, Li, KNDI

Tesla, too hype now

NIO, going strong. I'm a believer of blue sky, bought it below $20. 

Xpeng, next in line.

Li, vested some but on the high, its gonna be an entry EV.

Kndi, one of the first China EV into US. still trying to get some but no luck.

as mighty as Tesla is, its better to diversify a bit

Long term i have no idea (US markets, who knows when TSLA can hit 2500) since i'm looking at it with day/swing trading eyes. It's consolidated around 45-50 and is having trouble breaking 50, i scaled out some more last night (@50.35) when it broke 50 but it couldn't push past 50.50 before coming back down. I'm now left with a small position and focusing my attention on other counters. 

I'd probably look for a dip below 45 or a convincing breakout above the previous high in the 54s before adding again.

S&P are going to add Tesla into its Index.

The value of Tesla will go up because of this.

Yes sir, Tesla stocks now are being snapped up by all the fund managers that were sleeping on Tesla.

I feel that NIO stocks are easier to value compared to Tesla as they only got the EV manufacturing business. 

Tesla, on the other hand, has its energy business, autonomous driving that's a little more tricky to valuate.

Please support Tesla. Their aim is not to make money but to advance humankind.
