Blueray Hypersonic May 8, 2021 Share May 8, 2021 At least 5 hotels added as quarantine and stay-home notice facilities, disrupting plans of staycationers Quote The Ministry of National Development and the Singapore Tourism Board jointly confirmed on Friday (May 7) in response to queries from TODAY that some hotels had been activated to house persons under quarantine and SHNs, but did not state which or how many hotels are involved. “For safety and security reasons, (activated) hotels may need to turn away guests staying for leisure purposes, such as staycations,” the authorities said. “The number of facilities in use depends on demand, with facilities activated as and when needed,” they added. “The Government will continue to monitor the evolving situation, and work closely with these organisations to adjust the capacity of such facilities accordingly.” https://www.todayonline.com/singapore/least-5-hotels-added-quarantine-and-stay-home-notice-facilities-disrupting-plans
Blueray Hypersonic August 30, 2021 Share August 30, 2021 Just show NRIC to redeem SingapoRediscovers Vouchers at 34 CCs and RCs Quote SINGAPORE - Singaporeans can use their NRIC to redeem their SingapoRediscovers Vouchers (SRV) from Monday (Aug 30). They can also use their National Service identification document or Singapore passport as proof of identity to redeem the vouchers, the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) said. This comes after concerns over the redemption process surfaced last year. Some had felt that it would be difficult for the less tech-savvy and the elderly to redeem their vouchers. https://www.straitstimes.com/singapore/consumer/just-show-nric-to-redeem-singaporediscovers-vouchers-at-34-ccs-and-rcs

faparipis Neutral Newbie Monday at 03:43 AM Share Monday at 03:43 AM Has anyone tried exploring Singapore using a free walking tour service like the ones from Monster Day Tours? I came across their free walking tours and was wondering if it's a good way to discover hidden gems in the city. Would love to hear any experiences or recommendations! ↡ Advertisement
