HDB flats, govt subsidised homes.

Well, I stay in 1 of these.

To me and my family, it is a home.

Other than that, it is a rental flat. I paid a fixed rent in bulk so that it is cheaper than having to pay a monthly unknown (likely increasing) rent for the next 80 years. Me and my wife likely will die before the rental period paid is up. Perhaps there is some scrap money left when that happens. Good luck to whoever who get to claim it.
