Celebrating "no nut November".

Don't know what it mean...go ask goggle.

No Nut November is a challenge that originated on the internet, and it requires men to give up ejaculating for the entire month of November. Nut, in this case, refers to “ejaculating,” and it’s been used as a slang term since at least the 1970s. The challenge itself riffs on No Shave November, when men grow mustaches or beards for the month, often as part of a charitable cause.

It also doesn't seem to do MOBI files. At least no mention in reviews and website. Only EPUB.

Hoping to look for a good deal on ebook reader with e-ink tech. Any brand that is cheap and support epub, mobi and PDF. Currently reading on my handphone, and is tiring for my eyes.

Why not get the Samsung Tab A with S-pen? It is 8 inch and good for the eyes. I am using it for browsing thru my lecture notes on the go. With the S-pen, you can also take notes or even edit the pdf with annotations. You can use the S-pen function to screenshot the page and write on it.

Hmm totally different level of comfort. You don't realise how much your eyes are straining until u use an e-book reader.

But I agree if u are using A4 size files, PDFs, txt files etc. Get a tablet.

Ok never really heard about this. But at that price. 122 sgd w/o shipping (pre whatever 11-11 discount). Might as well just get a kindle basic? If can get PW on it's once every few months price drop to 90-100 usd, will be roughly comparable in price.

If u take the retail price without factoring in the amazon price drops which u need to track via camelcamelcamel or other ways, then it seems attractive. but if u know about the price drops, then i would say no incentive for non PRC users.

Even the chinese who use e-ink readers to read e-books mostly use the kindle PW.

This mi reader has 16gb though (to 8gb in the basic/lower end PW) and a middling PPI of 212 (vs 167 in basic and 300 in the PW). All the above are more than enough.

There was a time I used my PW to re-read two of Louis Cha's martial art novels ... heehee

I actually found out that there are revised versions with changes to the plot/ending.  One of them is Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils which I re-read.

A few months back, I was eyeing the GTS (or is it GTR) - anyway, the square-ish one.  Very good price (I've seen $160) and good online reviews.  And now the gen2 versions are announced (or already released).

Looks wobbly. Lol. If knock onto the tv will topple anot? Put in room with small tv I think alright. If 65” I will still prefer drill holes. It’s cheaper too. 😆

The likebook mars is tempting, as it is a basic android tablet with function of e-inks readers and support most ereader doc format with 7.8inch size that is similar size to most paperback. Only drawback is the price, that is almost more than 2 times the cost of kindle basic. I am considering whether to get from taobao and use ezship that will bring the cost down to around $246.

Thanks, but I will be  going  for e-ink ebook.  I have a kindle for my daugther, the reading is more relax compare to LCD screen. And other thing is it's light weight, since I will be holding it for a long duration of time while reading, I feel this is important, coz I try it on my tab before, hand get tired.
