Aiya, no need to envy and compare la, never ending. Just ownself contented and happy can liao, even poorer than others.

Don’t know why people like to compare job status, type of house stay/owned, brand of car drive and studied at which school and what qualifications obtained. 😅

Yeah, people like to compare....sometimes I hear a lot of these during meet-ups.  When it comes to my turn, I just tell them I retired for some years already. So sorry, no job titles or big cars to talk about. 

That's when all the comparing and cheap talk suddenly stops.

Relative to say Sydney we may be small but the daily grind of traffic got to me

i used to travel for almost an hour to get to work but now it’s about 8-10 minutes 

big difference to my sanity and how fresh I feel after work

Haha....yes, not so much, but I am not always in SG these days, so I don't have time  for such meet-ups.

It is not only the distance to travel but many other factors.  
the better suroundings, the nicer environment, the exclusivity etc….

Simple example, a classy condo within an enclave of other premium condos in D9 vs a mass market condo in Tamipnes pretending to be premium by asking $2700psf but faces a sea of HDB flats .   😂🤣😂😅

I can also say those people who buy condos facing HdBs enjoying haolianing becos they stay condo while all around them stay hdb.

I only know of 1 upcoming integrated condo at Tamp North. Indicative 2.2k psf

Not very expensive since resale at North Park already hit 18xxpsf
