RIP. the nature of rally is in itself high risk, there are many more deaths from rally than that of F1, partly because there are more rallies , partly because the sport itself is more dangerous.

Roll cage integrity looks weak though.

I don't follow local or regional guys or girls that much.

Over here we dont know much about the Spanish motor sports scene. I read she has an older sister who is a well known Spanish rally co-driver as well. I dont think we know of.

RIP to the young lady.

Anyway Rally is something Europe and the Scandinavians where they have 4 seasons, snow gravel mud & tarmac types of surfaces to race on. It really take skill to conquer all types of road surfaces.

Most of the horrific car crashes I saw on TV growing up are from rallies. Usually of rally cars ploughing into crowds killing many poor locals. Imagine driving at 100kmh speeds through dirt tracks of villages with kids cheering on the sides with no barricades.

I reckon the real daredevils are the rally spectators who stand just a few feet away from these rally cars....😓

narrow bumpy courses and high speed driving.. not a great combination

Correct. Rally driving is a seriously dangerous activity, with less professionalism and poorer risk mitigation than F1.

21yr old, that's too damn young to waste a life on motorsports. RIP.
