DBSS Flat at Bishan sold Oct 2020 for $1.2 million. Break previous record.

1.2 million for a 5 room DBSS flat between the 28th and 30th floor. Nowhere near the top floor and it can break all previous records.

Flats at Natura Loft in Bishan continue to fetch a handsome price, with the recent sale of a five-room unit there again crossing the $1 million mark.

According to data from the Housing Board, the flat, with just under 90 years of its lease left, was sold for $1,208,000 this month.

It is believed to be the highest resale price for a Design, Build and Sell Scheme (DBSS) unit, Chinese newspaper Shin Min Daily News reported yesterday.

The 120 sq m unit is believed to be between the 28th and 30th storeys.

The previous record price for a DBSS unit was the $1,205,000 paid for a five-room flat on the 39th-storey at City View in Boon Keng.

After sell he still needs to buy a place a stay, then reno again. To get back something similar location and size he will also have to pay similar price.

Those who bought the very high floor 5-rm Bishan DBSS at $1.1 million 3 years back can now flip for at least $1.3 million.

As long as buyers are willing to pay such prices, this trend will continue.

He basically got a free flat - At the time of sale, the most expensive units at Natura Loft were around $600+K tops.

Nov 20 BTO got Bishan plot, old ITE spot , I think should be more popular than Bidadari.
