Anyone can guide on how to repair the screw hole cause by hinge? (Cupboard). Previously i try to tighten the screw, but seems like the hole gone liao… cannot be tighten anymore…

I believe I've read what local contractors do in Sg renovation is they put in some epoxy. Let it dry then drive the screw in again. I can't remember the number of the epoxy they use.

Yes can put in strips of plywood if u have some.

There are tutorials on YouTube.

You can use a wood filler and it takes a couple of hours to dry or harden. Or if you can find wooden cloth peg, cut into stripe and insert into the screw hole. Trim off the excess that are protruding out.

my method is

1 -find a suitable wall plug. cut a wall plug to length as wall plugs are much longer than the thickness of the door.

2 -apply white glue to the wall plug

3 - press fit into the hole and wait awhile for the glue to dry.

4 - screw back on.

I am wondering if plastic wall plugs can be usev for the damage hole?

Stick a small cable between screw and plug and then tighten. Trim off excess and you're good to go.

Anyone knows where I can get butyl sealant for the car door waterproof sheet locally?
In a roll or tape form it is readily available but I’m having trouble looking for those that dispense like a silicone sealant.

Battery arrived in 12 days from China. Vost about $19.30. Considered fast despite the lock down there.

I know. Thanks for the link. I didn't know what they were called. I just use what I had available.

I bought fischer duopower wall plug. It's kind of expensive compared to the 1 cent plug from Horme.

But it is very good for all kinds of walls, including drywall.

https://shopee.sg/fischer-DUOPOWER-6-x-30-S-(nylon-plug-screw)-i.240539452.9411960182?sp_atk=a88a3cfe-45c0-46c5-8634-e03fe20026cd

The 1 cent plug is quite limited. You need to drill more or less exact hole depth. Sometimes I hit a hollow brick, the plug would just dropped into the void and bcum useless.

The duopower with a flange/lip at the top will not sink into the hole. Its 2 parts will spread securely holding onto the wall.

Advertised mah is 5400mah. Must learn not to trust all these above stock value from 3rd party vendors.

But still within 5% from the official Xiaomi spec is good enough especially for the price paid.

The switch on my outdoor socket  went bad because the plastic and spring in the switch gear has deteriorated, i bought  a schneider socket but the switch does  not come with this connector below, this is a connector/sleeve to be attached to the pvc pipe to prevent water from going into the pipe, where could i buy this ? I ran to a few HDB HW shops but none of them has the exeact fit.
