I using all these SS screw from taobao in the wall also

no problem

Just base on eyeball look, they both look similar, so woodscrew and tapcon should perform the same I guess.. They are both self taping.

I buy these S/S screws from Toh Guan area. Plenty of selections and reasonable prices.

I have a number of these self tapping wood screw too, but I never thought of using for concrete. Maybe next time need to hang something I will try.

I can't click the link, but is it single thread SS like this ?

Note tapcons have double threads. One thread outer and one inner. Somehow that's the trick that holds in concrete. If you use a normal screw, it will not hold.

Did you use a plastic wall plug before using these SS wood screw ?

Bcuz tapcon is direct into the hole, no use wall plug.

Interesting - so that the concrete will not be crushed into powder as the larger threads are further apart. Never knew this before.

I see, so this the difference. Double thread.  Must see close up, else looks similar to wood screw.

I see, now it clarifies.

Was taking paper towel from towel dispenser and pulled the thing off the dry wall and damaged the drywall screw holes.

Brought down my ga chang and remade the mounting holes with wall plug this time (though the dry wall is thin. Maybe 1.25—1.5cm thick only). Hope it holds better.

Some parts of my wall in various locations also liddat. Some, even with plugs, also gave way after a prolonged period…I’m slowly removing the wall mount setup and go standalone route…😅

this one my workplace. So just settle it chop chop. Dry wall very easy anyway.

At home concrete sibei marfan.
My own home, i used some suction hook on my rear door to hold my dog leash. But it dropped off.
This suction hook is the top rated one on TB. And I'm using it other places in my home, so it's holding very well on tile or wooden laminates also. So it's due to the painted surface on the rear door.

Adhesive hook won't work cos it's a painted old door. So maybe need to borrow my friend's 18v cordless drill to drive in a few hooks (cos think my makita might have some problems, given my experience lol).

You need to use butterfly wall plug for dry wall. Normal wall plug will not hold for long.

Maybe use a bigger or longer screw. Or try  hammering strips of wood into the hole first.

If the cupboard is chipboard material then quite hard!  Easier to move the position of the hinge and thus new holes for the screws.
