I need to glue back a small piece of wood for my girls guzheng stand. Is superglue good enough? Should work with any rough surface.

On Shopee, look for Gorilla Glue.  There is a wood glue.

Exposed elbow for 180?

Maybe I should take up plumbing course too....

When you have a leaking pipe and couldn't get anyone to respond, $180 seem very reasonable unless you are willing to live without water for a day or 2. 😂

Wood glue is best for joining wood to wood. Daiso has it

If not load bearing just use the gel type superglue from Daiso. 2 dollars for a few tubes.

yeah it's not really load bearing. It's just a small piece used create a notch to prevent the guzheng from sliding off the stands.

Second time I deep clean my LG top loader.

From outside it looks clean, but it's not completely. The blue plastic is the lint filter. It traps a lot of black stuff. But still they come and stain my clothes.

YAJxssj.jpeg

Remove the bottom cover with screwdriver, but it's hard to lift it up. I finally succeeded using two hooks.

This is the inside of the cover, which I had already cleaned.

What it's like underneath the cover. Some black stuff you can see, with more hidden from view.

The two hooks and picks

and I use a flat toilet brush, add some bleach and clean deep inside.

The black stuff I heard is from softener breaking down, I'm not sure.

I clean with the bleach and brush, adding some water from garden sprayer. To remove the water, I closed the lid, set it to spin cycle.

This will activate the water pump to clear the water.  Then I stopped it, when it started to spin.

This is a perennial problem ……. My Panasonic ( must be 10 years++ old since last 2 years also has this issue ) used some of those powder to cleanse it …. A lot of muck came out but still has still some coming out from clothes and some stuck in the filter

My new LG top loading washing machine also same.

At first was white residue stains left on dark coloured clothes so we tried using liquid detergent instead of powder.

Now this black seaweed looking stuff underneath the cover.

My old LG front loader don't have all these problems.

This problem is with top loader. Bcuz the dirt settles at the bottom during washing. It doesn't completely flushed out since the bottom is flat.

Front loader does not have a flat bottom collecting all the mucks, and stuffs.

Replacing toilet water cistern inlet fill valve :

Shut off water inlet, then drain the water by flushing it out

This is the water inlet fill valve. It controls the water inlet and shuts off using a float.

JTyXUF8.jpeg

Remove the valve and you'll see 1/2" hole.

I only used 2 simple cheap tools

vRPUPH2.jpeg

After dismantling the old one, I found the black rubber seal that closed the valve looked terrible. It did not closed properly, and water overflow into the discharge valve. So the toilet cistern just continue to leak water. This was a Sg Showy brand, it didn't last long. Maybe the Selley one is better.

Do a tub clean. Hot water setting that can flush and dislodge.

Joven. Can even be repaired, which my common toilet one already repaired with the heating element replaced in 2024 (previous owner installed in 2005/2006).

Ariston is turd.

my parents are using rheem cos they don't want to swap the rack etc.

Don’t buy ariston, quality no good at all. Joven and 707 should be ok.
