Yeobh 4th Gear October 15, 2020 Share October 15, 2020 Looks like more and more manufacturers of spark plugs are changing from hex drive ( 6 points ) to b-hex drive ( 12 points) . Currently the most commonly one use by European cars are 16mm Bi-Hex and for small cc engine 14 Bi-Hex. The PSA car makers even comes with smaller size spark plugs and some need special long spark plug socket to to the replacement. For Japanese and Asian cars , if you have info pl feel free to adv me PS have you ever come across cars using 18mm hex drive spark plug, I was told this can be the next popular size.
