Atrecord Supersonic September 28, 2020 Share September 28, 2020 I think defenders must wear those jackets issued in IMH and other institutions, that strap the hands to the body. This seems the safest way to avoid handballs (and therefore penalties). They must also install blindspot detectors to warn them of approaching strikers, as well as those emergency assisted brake, to avoid tripping those fast strikers like Vardy did last night... but this weekend... Utd really used up all their luck for the season already, in getting the 3 points. Brighton surprisingly good, hit woodwork so many times... just suay. Son and Spurs also like that... Chelsea clearly needs defenders more than attackers... but City will say they are even more desperate 🤣 If i'm a pro footballer, i'll now convert to be defender. Confirm in high demand. what i'll do if i'm manager instead, is to immediately engage a team of experts to (learn and) teach how to make full use of VAR, in both avoiding giving penalties/handballs, as well as finding ways to earn them... I think can easily turn a game around if done well. tonight hope Pool will get 3 points to stay with the early pacesetters. ↡ Advertisement

Expand Yes Rudiger is certainly a surprise. He is supposedly the best Chelsea defender but his stock has gone backwards after some mistakes when last season re-started. But didn't expect him to be left out completely as the other defenders like Christensen were also making mistakes. Chelsea's issue could be the defence is not set up properly hence it could be a coach's mistake ie their formation leaves them exposed or whatever? Lampard insists that it's down to individual errors which is true for the WBA goals but they have only 1 clean sheet in the last 21 away games so can't always be individual errors. Everton have a good coach in Ancelotti whom I'm surprised Arsenal n Chelsea overlooked him for Arteta n Lampard respectively.

Therein lies the problem, different interpretation of the handball rule makes teams on the receiving end feel a sense of injustice. Edited: The equaliser for Newcastle was a handball penalty right? Not about offside. Expand Moments earlier spurs got a handball call in newcastlr penalty box. Var no stop play n check lor. Then 39secs later i tink. Newcastle player lunghes himself to spurs player holberg. And surprise newcastle got a freekick. Which then lead to this. Pure kelong 1

Expand very valid point. maybe should trace who are the jokers who thought up all these rules, then ask them to come out and demo the proper and right way to jump and will not be penalised. still early days. Only 3 matches. Except for the manager, i don't like Everton at all. The goalkeeper last season big mouth, talked bad about Allison, then he himself blundered mega-scale against Origi. Then 2-3 seasons ago that cb kia holbert or someone, pushed firmino towards the advert board, could have caused serious injury. and worse, think 4 seasons ago, Origi was developing well, and that the idiot funes-mori broke his leg, and Origi's has not been the same player since. The team - esp the latter 2 players - should rot in shame. will chelsea get in a good defender? Thiago Silva's baptism of fire in the first match... jialat leh. Didn't bring the stability that's been craved by the team...

Leicester though might be Pool's closest challengers but it's a shame the other big 5 don't seem to be able to challenge Pool though Arsenal might.
