Manchester is in tier 3 ie a vulnerable part of UK where Covid is widespread so no supporters allowed in. Seems only 10 clubs (tier 2 - 2k spectators) are allowed spectators whilst another 10 are in tier 3.

Currently no EPL club is in tier 1 (4K spectators allowed)

When I heard 3rd tier, I thought it meant stadium size and can accommodate more spectators. :lll._.:

i wake up to watch the game. chelsea got no direct threat in the final 1/3 of the field. no chelsea player try to take on everton player 1 on 1.

and they mark giroud and werner very tight...

but chelsea also damn suay that game, keep hitting post....

Yes they hit the post 3 times I think. Of their 7 new signings, Kai Havertz has taken the longest to settle in and being the most expensive, pressure is on him to start delivering. He has shown glimpses of his talent and has been unfortunate to hit by Covid which cost him valuable time n fitness. Like most talented players, his languid style makes him look casual at times which in the high intensity of EPL is a no go.

Spurs and Pool both failed to take advantage of the manchester derby draw. Both drew as well.  Leicester meanwhile is just a point behind.

Top 10 is only a 7 point gap. Villa in 10th has 2 games in hand.

Very close title fight

This makes for an exciting title challenge as no one team stands out after 12 games. The leaders having 25 points only at this stage means that if this trend continues, the title might be won with mid 80 points unlike previous seasons where high 90 points needed to be Champs.

Pool were lucky that the ref overruled VAR n not award a penalty to Fulham which would hv given them a 2 goal lead. I suppose it’s only fair as some VAR decisions went against Pool in recent games and that’s why as I always say, decisions for and against u would more or less even itself out over the course of the season. It’s k/o football like the Cup competitions and UCL k/o rounds that an unfair decision means u r out of the competition. Best team always wins the League👍

must be last season got lots feedback said runaway leader spoilt the show...

so this season cannot allow to happen again 😂

on the VAR incident, from the replay, clearly Fabinho kicked the ball away first, before the momentum of his body knocked the Fulham player away bowling style. It would really be injustice if a penalty was called - but then again, after all the 'against-calls' so far this season, honestly i was expecting the worst... strangely this time it wasn't given.

Pool this season is lucky to still be in the equation. Again played badly - the first half - and were lucky to not lose. No signs of the overwhelming play of the last 2-3 seasons, and reminds of the impotent era of Brendan Rogers' last season... And it's strange, cos they were clinical against Leicester and Wolves, and unrecognisable in games like last night's and against Villa... Really Dr Jekyl and Mr Hyde season.

The fact that VAR asked the ref to review the incident means that VAR felt it was a penalty but of course on field ref has the final say but point to take note is that this is about only the second time as far as i know this season that the on field ref sticked to his original call. More often then not, on field ref would heed VAR advice and if u go back to earlier last season when refs almost nvr viewed the pitch side screen, a penalty would hv been awarded cos refs were told then to trust VAR and not waste time viewing the pitch side screens.

Anyway point I’m making is that it goes to show that a lot of decisions are subjective and each club has to accept that you win some, lose some. Some Mgrs have been mischievous in insinuating that some clubs get better decisions than others, some refs are pro certain clubs etc

yah how true...

if last season, depend on VAR only, then gone case liao. Like when Pool played at Old Trafford, where clearly there was a foul on origi in Utd half, but not given and immediately Utd scored. VAR didn't review and goal stood...

And of course there is prickford's blatant foul that went unpunished...

everybody thought VAR will right the wrong of human error when refereeing real-time... Looks like it's not really achieving what everyone thought it would do...

Seems like London will be in Tier 3 from tmr onwards hence the London teams Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea, West Ham, Fulham n Palace will not be allowed spectators into the stadium. If not mistaken looks like only 4 clubs allowed spectators from the 10 that were in tier 2 previously, Pool, Everton, Brighton and Southampton left.

Agreed if so few clubs allowed in then not really fair on the rest. Then again, I think British Govt under pressure to allow elite sports to hv spectators but u got a point that since vaccine is forthcoming, might as well wait instead of jumping the gun n getting new wave of infections.
