Zxcvb Turbocharged August 24, 2020 Share August 24, 2020 Factors or combined factors that might contribute to skidding : 1) Speeding - entering the bend at high speed more than what the car can handle. 2) Braking during the corner - too late. should have slowed down BEFORE the bend, NOT during the bend. Stay constant speed while cornering. 3) Bad tyre - worn out, old and harden. budget tyre not suitable for high speed traction. 4) Bad wheel aligment - need to check regularly. 5) Road bend is at the apex - going at high speed towards the horizon? Can easily lose traction once the car hits the peak point. 6) Wet weather - road is most slippery when it drizzles than a heavy rain. Cos a water mix with oil on the road is damn slippery. You can always say speeding, wet conditions but if one stretch of road has more accidents than others, LTA really need to improve that stretch.
