Our CBs struggle during headers, as can be seen against Everton.

Food for thought: If Origi is stuck now, and he's tall and decently fast, why not convert him to learn be CB. If successful, he could maybe become a sought-after CB, given the world shortage of good ones. 😆

And he can always go up for corners to head in goals.

A goal scoring center back.

Adrian pulled off few good saves but clearly he was unsettled throughout the game. 

Getting annoyed with his finger circling gesture. 

Gomez is no Alan Henson. He needs to not behave like him.

This is a damn satisfying win.

No VVD and Alisson and no fame front 3 after 60 mins and still get a clean sheet and 3 points.

Every one in Pool's group will get 6 points against FC Midtjylland beating them home and away so its very important we take points off Ajax and Atalanta.

I think the teams that goes through needs 10 or even 11 points.

This win + clean sheet is a welcome breather to the team, after what a devastating derby on Sunday. 

The team rode its luck as Ajax could have easily scored 1 or 2 goals.  Same can be said of Pool who also squandered various opportunities.  Pool's defence is deep in transition with Fabinho partnering Gomez and with an uncertain Adrian behind them.  I find Adrian is very nervy and prone to over or under reaction.  Can't wait for Alisson to be back. Heard he is back in training so his return may not be too far away. 

Henderson couldnt play 90 min hence we played Jones.  Henderson's value to the team is so understated and the only time we can see his value is when he is on the pitch. Pool had better control of the game after the break once Henderson was introduced. 

Klopp also threw in a brave move to completely remove the front 3 with the 2nd tier front 3 on the hour.  Shariqi, Dota and Taki all played the remaining 30 minutes and Taki should have scored on a couple of occasions.  It was such a brave move but Klopp's decision was eventually validated. The normal front 3 has been spared the full 90 min and will be fresher for the game at the weekend.

Think Rhys Williams is 188cm just 5cm shorter than VVD.

I think we cannot ask too much from Adrian. He has been on free transfer for his last few moves. As long as he does the normal stuff, should be good enough e.g  try to block shots, cut off crosses and clear ball when required. Just dont try funny passes in the box.

Absolutely.

Bearing in mind there aren't any pre season training. And not much of raining during covid lock down.

Infact the top few teams all having key player /s injured these past weeks.

Season still a long way to go. We need to rotate.

Gomez was super annoyed when he shielded a ajax player for him to pick up the ball. He took no chance and blasted it away.

Rotation will be an important deliberate action. Luckily, we now have enough forwards, midfielders and full backs to rotate. CBs a bit thin but we still have Fabinho and some youngsters to fill in the gap. 

Noticed that V Jaros was on the bench last night. With Alisson injured and Adriam shaky, Klopp made sure that he has 2 goalies on the bench.

Must be kena F by Klopp due to Villa. I think if Adrian dont chu pattern, he will be fine until Alisson is back. Alisson shld be close to coming back by now.
