Straight out of Uni, It takes 5 years (thereabout) to be Audit Manager in Big 4.

Sometimes with the workload, some will develop health complication(s) before 5 years is up.

Yeah you're right, it's that work life balance.

My ex-boss is similar in that sense she wanted work life balance. Unfortunately, she was asked to go (happened many years ago) due to a restructuring even though her performance at work is outstanding.

I still catch up with her sometimes and she's more focused on family these days.

PMET data need to hide? Why need to group some and disclose some? Can't they simply publish full details and let public do their own assessment?

Long gone are the days when proper jobs (full-time with good career prospect) are created for Singaporean. Foreigners are no longer brought in just to fill the gaps (low pay job detested by locals, or those with niche skill set in high tech setting), but merely as "Panadol", to relief the pressure of high overhead cost. I say "Panadol" (instead of miracle pill) because Panadol DON'T deal with the actual illness, but just numbing the pain to make a person feels better. Once the effect is gone, the pain is back, since root cause of the problem is never resolved.

I wonder if she voted Brexit or not 🤣🤣🤣🤣

"Since July the mood has dramatically shifted against foreign workers,” said another British woman who did not wish to be named. “My advice to anyone considering moving to Singapore on assignment would be – don’t do it, you have no rights here, they don’t want you.”

Good advice. Very talented Brit lady.

 i didn't know that's philip Yeo's view. He is LKY's favorite. He has done a lot for the high end Research industry.  His can be a good minister. Why is he not coming out to serve our country?

Coz he's too radical and vocal to be a "yes" minister.

The govt data doesn't show something that will show the whole truth.

Under Singaporeans, they didnt show "natural born citizen" and "converted citizen"

There are 393,700 S Pass + EP holder in 2019.

Non-residence PMET in the above report is 403.5k.  There is a difference of 10k.

===========================================================

Singaporean + PR PMET = 1,299.6k

Resident workforce = 2,356.8k

55% of local workforce.  Not sure reasonable or not.
