I thought you know that is why you say is low. Even if they leave after the 3rd year and the big 4 continue to recruit fresh guys, either they are doing a public service by training them or somebody else has been shortchanged. Wonder is this practice common is every country. ↡ Advertisement

This has been the practice for many years. If there's a need to have long term employment in SG but already on watch list, no worries, simply engage manpower agencies to employ more such CECA. Since these external CECA aren't their own headcount, they won't appear under the radar. I have heard of some companies have engaged more than 10 such agencies to help them. I am surprised after so many years MOM do not know such practices yet.. or not willing to take action to clamp such agencies?

Every year got new supply, so why worry? The question is, did ALL the fresh graduates received proper training and how many landed up doing what they are supposed to be trained? Not only those that left and switch career, tax payers also invested on them through their education. Is this what our unis would like to see? If answer is not, then what would have been better? Training as in on the job😅😅

The union in uk is quite protective of the workers right. So the expectation is they expect the same amount of support is what she is referring to. I suppose we should also compare and contrast the workers union of us and uk and adjust our workers benefot for the fees that is been paid. There was some echo of publishing names of 30 or so banking and financial organisationon the discrimination and while little or no detail has been shared on the actual phyiscal numbers, we still are clueless on how it came about or which single source is ben referred to. added to this, 47 +240 were detected. How many thousands have gone undetected? May not be thousands , but what is the message to those that are thinking about it since they will still operate incognito.? I half suspect most big banks use some technology to sheeve out the applicants and just blame the system for not selecting the singaporean applicant base on the SEO on the enterprise system and MOm would probably also take into consideratiom such anomalies. And big4 bread and butter is audit....in accountancy curriculum, audit is only one of the many modules, so in a way I do agree they are doing giving ng practical training.
