Is very unfair. Govt should not charge us money. Since we are paying ERP using this IU unit. BTW, I did not buy from them when my unit is spoilt. I get it free from scrap yard. USe until now...no problem...

Of course it is unfair, but the government has been changing  us everyday we also did not complain unfair 😀😀

Could be wiring problem, if so it's not chargeable.

Don't forget to get the excuse chit in case you pass any gantry before it's fixed.

Tks i know that. But can we just drive in n fix it on same day on the spot?

Can, just drive in. Depending on your luck - if there a queue in front then have to wait. There is a counter for IU related matters.

It just takes 20 minutes to fix it.

But depending on the queue if there is one.

Try going in at 11.45 pm as there is no queue. Most car workshops mechanics are having lunch....  :secret-laugh:

COE has its effectiveness in controlling car population, but LTA allowing proxy bidding by dealers has caused the COE price to stay  high.

really ? do u need to sync up the data ? because the IU is like a sim card and will trigger a violation if committed to the previous car.

Ya. Get it checked for free. The wires are taped together using electrical tape; no connectors or crimps are used.

Which scrap yard so good give the IU to you free? But if you get it from scrap yard, how do you install and register the IU unit to your car?

i think also got validity must change registration within some months else the used unit also cannot be used.
