At least for car dealers in Aust, you can drive anywhere you want alone. Some even allow you to take the car home for the weekend, use it with your family and see how practical the car is..

yes i think its a good idea.. to have the car to yourself for 30 mins

You are free to explore the functions and drive the way you like , where you want to 

no need bother about the SE and listening to their marketing chatter

but then again perhaps 30 mins is too short..a bit long would be better. over the weekend would be great

I'm sure arrangements can be made for extended test drives for genuine buyers, just that no need to publicize or else every goondu will be trying to wrangle extended joyrides.

But frankly speaking. Test drive car . U all dare ram test power. Overtaking.  Cut corner hard test chassis those stun meh?

Test drive i super kasi and drive extremely carefully  1😂

yes.. i'd try driving fast, hard cornering etc provided SE is not in the car... but not recklessly

Most mass market brands don't need to pay, not sure about Porsche though.. If you're really genuine buyer, I don't think they mind you taking the car over the weekend.

Addressing the second para, selected dealers offer cars to be taken home for various periods to selected clients.

I've had the McLaren GT home for a couple of days very recently. 

I've done this a couple of times with BMW, both the new M5 and a 740.

@RadXhas done this too, I think with the i8 but maybe also other cars/marques.

This shows only the very high end marque cars can be taken home.. for B&B cars, dealers probably ask you to fly kite..

RadX was in different league then. Extended test drive for 3 months and change car 😁
