Not really 500k profit. Maybe max 400.

 

Five room from hdb was around 720 to 750 depend on level.

 

Four room was 620 to 660 (can't remember exact) direct from hdb.

 

Above from hdb sales of balance flat.

Back then telok blanga height (the few block directly facing the sea) was 650 for four room from sales of balance.

Above all me and wifey tried but no queue number.

I just checked propertyguru, seems like no other 5-room units in 9B Boon Tiong for sale at the moment so not everyone is rushing to cash out. Most people are happy to stay on. Same for my block which is about 10 minutes walk away from this place, MOP is 2018 but until now only 3 units out of 40 of 5-room flats in the block sold.

Tiong Bahru, Kim Tian, Bukit Merah, Telok Blangah, Queensway are good esp if you work in CBD and do not own a car. Many buses going into CBD without having to rely on the MRT.

The prices there now are astronomical.

Myxilplix should know since he is staying not far away from tiong bahru plaza. The next million dollar hdb unit will be at the Henderson right beside timing bahru park. Those hdb should be mop in 3 to 4 years time. On elevated slop with view overlooking flyer/MBS.

Correction. Was sharing with wifey according to her the highest price from hdb 5 room that block should be 800k or slightly higher.

My mistake ...not 750k as mentioned earlier. 😟

These area you mentioned indeed good, even work in west area, going to west by MRT also not far.

Buses going into CBD, traffic quite heavy la, take MRT faster. Lol.

What is sala hah? My 143sqm pigeon hole can't even fetch 200k above purchased price from hatch der bee directly. SK veri happening nowadays you know... even got new TC building gifted by the...
