From RON98 to RON100, the saving is about 0.5km/L on NSHW.

The traffic was heavier when RON100 was used.

IMHO.
Just pumped a full tank of RON98.
1st take -  engine smoother and less noisy.  Timing advanced higher and lesser fuel used (App).  👍

Yes, encountered the same effect when using Ron 98. Good thing is pumped twice a month only 😜. Saw on YouTube some mods you can do on CX. Here’s the link: https://youtube.com/@cx.mods.?si=8wSPn88pMwc40pa9

Unfortunately I’m not touching any electrical components for now since warranty is in effect. Will be installing the mesh grill soon as haven’t got the time to send car to workshop.

Hope everyone is enjoying their ride! I think my CX is the only one with roof basket otr atm. Honk if we cross paths! 🫣

Hey guys!

I recently purchased these 2 items (mesh to be installed at the front lower bumper + mudguard). The double sided tape provided by seller for the mesh aint that good hence am getting workshop to install even though its plug and play kind just to be on the road safe side!

Anyone knows if the camera located at the front bumper grill can be relocated and if there will be any issues with BM warranty?

I thought of installing the 'Toyota' lettering emblem but seemed like the camera will be covered if i installed it at the space available below the Toyota logo.

IMHO.
My only interest is how fast is the 0-100km/h. 😆

Malaysia get 1.8 petrol and 1.8 Hybrid, wonder what will our AD BM be offering on the facelift version if its coming Singapore.

IMHO.
Engine capacity and outer appearance aside,  vs our AD's 2022/2023 older model,  the difference I noticed is the kick sensor, spare tyre and better display.
Nevertheless, it is an upgrade for them vs their previous model.

Theirs also come with remote start function, its only cost RM$140800 for 1.8 Hybrid so cheap.

I wonder the remote start can activate engine or not. 🤔
Have DRCC/LTA already very good.   Some of PHV Prius also don't have this feature.  Hands free driving. 👍

With a dated 1.8L engine I'd rather go for Havel H6 .

Toyota in msia has been flogging their dead horse for ages and in the name of "reliability" offers 2 generations prior technology in hope of current toyota owners to continue sticking around with the brand.

@Kklee i dun consider it an upgrade with a dated old engine compared to our M20. The difference in acceleration is very obvious when i'm on the NShighway going 130 and easily overtaking a local cross HEV travelling at the same speed

Not sure exactly which engine  they are using.  Most of the roads will be the previous generation unless they come with the new circle HEV hybrid emblem.  The older model IIRC uses the NiMH battery.   1.8 usually tune for FC - i think their 0-100 is 9 secs or more.

I went up North too.  The 2.0L perform well even fully loaded.  Average FC for me is about 18 km/L.

P.S.  Please dun go bully their local HEV leh.   But I got other cars trying to jio me because they think mine the same as their local HEV version. 🤔

An unscrupulous driver in Japan loses control while changing his shirt in a self-driving car, hits the opposite car and kills a 1-year-old baby

According to comprehensive Japanese media reports, a horrific car accident occurred in Japan in September. After turning on the autonomous driving mode on the highway, a man actually let go of the steering wheel to change clothes and shoes in the car. The vehicle suddenly lost control, crossed the line and crashed into an oncoming private car, killing a person in the other car. The 1-year-old boy died of serious injuries.

IMHO.
Should be Lane Tracing Assist (LTA)
