Bro, your logic is a bit not correct.

LTA contract the road work to these contractors.  It is LTA to ensure QC check.

On the other hand, BM is AD of TMAP.  BM is supposed to sell vehicles on an as-is basis.

Any enhancement is on AD.  Not Toyota.

Aiya, when i say toyota means and refer to AD la. So they should ensure that there is a level of standard even though they might outsource to workshop to install and fit the seats etc.

@Kklee Newbie here to know more on the vehicle and currently waiting for BM stock which will be delivered in Aug. For existing owners, what are the upgrades or accessories which you guys have gotten/installed?

For mine, really nothing much to upgrade.
My upgrades,🤣
a)  Boot - 3M mat
b)  Boot - 2x Rubber Mats
c)  better driver side mat

Do note, I bought a centre console storage tray from Aliexpress but it cannot fit. 🤣
Mine come with Michelin Primacy 4.  For sportier handling, can try Michelin PS4.

I think quite challenging for power and fuel efficiency mods as out of the box, already quite good.
0-100km/h in 7.7 secs on paper is fast enough?  🤣
My FC average at least 22.5 km/L.    Full tank 43 liters estimated at least 950km.

I likely going for aesthetic mods like luminous valve caps and stickers for the rims.

Technical aspect can see this thread. 2023 and 2024 should be about the same.

To know more and use of Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 and driving assists,  can check out this thread.

P.S. You can @Unclepigpig who is another owner.

@Kklee

Thanks for the reply and links to the other threads!

Did you purchase the accessories from stores locally or online?

I'm leaning towards aesthetics and practicality hence I've been researching on body kits these days. Couldn't afford a RAV4 therefore might convert its aesthetics into an AWD look. Probably install a roof rack and roof box for extra storage during trips up North.

I'm a light footer so I think the power is more than enough for me to drive daily and as for the fuel, I love how efficient it is now that you mentioned earlier!

I joined Msia's TCCH Facebook groups and they have tons of info pertaining to the vehicle albeit theirs are 1.8 series. Saw their GR sport series and love how the body kit looks!

Wondering if existing owners have done up their car body kits and if could share if its done locally or in Msia?😃

Google for "toyota corolla cross hybrid hks" - MY has this. Could be suitable. 👍
Usually I try online.  I got the sensing that specific accessories are harder to find for this model.
MY TCCH Facebook welcome SG a not ?   They've got 14.9k folks.

Was thinking of the roof rack as well.  I think maybe source from MY which could be cheaper.

Mine is without the spare tyre.  So now hunting for the scissor jack and spare tyre as well.  I think if MY, still got chance. 🤔

P.S.  IIRC,  in here, so far there are 3x AD and 1x PI - a few only.

Not into body kits after doing it for the previous car .

- if oem , the fitting can be a problem and gaps need to be filled and patch with silicon , this is provided the installer is somewhat competent

- will get sick of the look after a few mths

- a pain to wash if too much nooks and crevices

- some body kits lower the front and back of the car and if you get into some accidents , it’s a pain to replace the kit all over again

@Kklee

I have not interacted with any of the TCCH members from Msia yet. Just casually browsing feedback and issues occured from their vehicle and how they resolved it. For e.g. some of them installed honeycomb grill at their front bumper near the number plate to prevent small stones from going in.

@Unclepigpig

thanks for your inputs! Currently looking to have the attached body kit install but am still sourcing for workshops to customise based on the photos. The closest kit is the GR sport kit. Noted on the cons of installing a body kit. Appreciate the inputs. Any of the owners have upgraded their dashcam or entertainment unit?

@Kklee Basically it’s a set of mesh installed onto it. I have yet to check if local workshops can install but workshops in JB can do so. I have attached a photo which I saw from the Facebook group. The rationale for doing so is to protect the condenser from stones as claimed by users in the group.

Done before in previous ride. 2 things for consideration

1) ALOT of small leaves and tiny stones will be trapped in the grills instead blocking airflow to your radiator. Weekends spent clearing the small leaves with a tweezer

2) Corrosion. Unless the vendor uses proper 316 steel mesh, environment conditions in sg will cause corrosion of the mesh overtime and spread to other parts of the car.

Some of the msin mods can be quite outlandish such as this. SUV become tractor....

The cooling system (radiator)  don't seem to be really "stressed" like ICE.
Maybe I DIY mesh using cable ties ?  🤣
