IMHO.
AD Corolla Cross Hybrid should use DRCC - it is able to move below that speed.

AD model is TSS 3.0.

Wow, the Thai facelift from article stated Corolla Cross side mirrors also gain a new feature to automatically tilt downwards when the driver engages reverse.

I reply to one of your post from the other thread.
The latest batch indeed no more electric driver seat. Also from Softex ( i think ) to half leather/half fabric. Type A to Type C.  Also new hybrid logo.
Stock wise,  check with sales.

For those who plan to go back to AD for service,  please factor in the servicing packages - the price just went up.

The thread I created is on the technical aspect.
There are 2 versions of Corolla Cross Hybrid.  One is AD and the other PI.
I've got no info for the PI version.  I am more familiar with the AD version which is 5th Gen, 2.0L, using lithium battery.

AD promo
- 10 years hybrid battery warranty
- 3 year Service Plus Package
- 5 years warranty

10 yr battery warranty but I assume will need to chop carrot at Borneo every 6 months?

The difference over 10 years in terms of extra servicing cost is easily 5k. I assume that is about the cost of new battery.

@t0y0ta Assuming cost of servicing in BM is double of that outside, a typical workshop charges 128 for oil and filter.

Diff over 10 years is 128x20 = 2,560. This is a rough calculation that does not take into other stuffs like spark plug, brakes (i never change for 8 years) , air filter etc

Also, my hybrid battery is still running strong just that the mileage has decreased by likely 20% per tank but is still better than a conventional ICE car.

You can choose to exit BM servicing after 5 years , check with them if the battery warranty is still valid if you service elsewhere but with original parts.

For me, i would prob sell the car when its 7 years

My mileage is higher than the average.
I can change EO and if i want to, even oil filter i.e.  don't even need to get chopped by outside workshop.
I go back to BM because I need warranty and to map out the regular parts change.
Maybe after 5 years, there is a workshop that gives me confidence to service it.

5k cannot change new the traction battery.  If can, will be good.
My new cause of concern is the 12v auxiliary battery in hybrid that is not often used,  becoming flat and cannot start car. 🤣

P.S.  A lot of people says no need to warm up car.  I can tell you for my usage, especially this car,  I need to warm up.   🤣
