Yes, my paint coating is BM's Platinum Shine Pro.   The soon-to-do PPF will be STEK but I will be doing the front only.  All local.
Only con is that the coating is not done on the black trim and wheels.  I may need to find someone to do or DIY. The wheel coating, maybe can do in MY.
I suggest you do a  ceramic coat and also the PPF.  PPF is for stone chips.

1000km i think they will change EO.  I suggest to change EO at 5k also as I've seen a lot of metal filings. 😆
So can ask for the various packages like extended warranty,  servicing packages,  toyota on wheels, etc.
The toyota on wheels,  is like a recovery service,  in MY u have to pay but at least you got a number to call <- still trying to find a number to call in MY for tow or tyre.

Also,  they have other Motul engine oil available for service.

P.S.  The engine runs half of the time, so 1000 km is like 500 km only. 😆  I feel the engine really break-in at about 15k.

P.S.  I am checking out a ceramic coating service to see if still available.  I will recommend you that once I have more information.  My last car uses an earlier version of the ceramic coat - stains left by bird poo after cleaning,  will evaporate under UV. 😆

Serviced my car at 1000km and probably will send for servicing before i travel up north in Dec. Not sure if i want to change to Motul in the next EO change. Yes, am considering PPF and ceramic coating too. Do share when you have the info. Currently, my carpark is sheltered so i wouldnt worry so much about it.

Let us know what you change to and price.   I am thinking about it.
Maybe I want to add a exhaust tip.  😆

I will be installing a low profile rack this week from Carousell. It will cost me $320 before installation. Currently decided to install roof basket instead of a box as it's more convenient (to keep the cargo bag)/also considering to put spare tyre on it and aesthetically it looks good. 😃

I have yet to try in tunnel but will give it a test later today. Will need to get used to it before the idea to upgrade kicks in. 😂

Ive listed a few accessories which i bought/pending delivery and it fits in well:

1) Car grab handle for headrest for old folks or children to grab onto when climbing in (Shoppee)

2) Kamatto classic car mats + boot mat (Shoppee)

3) Car back seat protector anti-kick cushion pad (Aliexpress)

4) Windor rain visor (Shoppee)

5) Dedicated base accessories for mobile phone (slot in between hazard light) + car phone holder (pending delivery) - Shoppee

6) Automotive touch up paint to cover dings - silver metallic (pending delivery) - Shoppee

7) Rear sear protector + boot mat (spare) + arm rest storage (Pending delivery) - Shoppee

Pt 5, 6 and 7 have been delivered. Recently purchased armrest with additional cup holders too. With Taoboa app available in English now, its abit hard not to purchase accessories from there as well! But i think i have purchased the necessary accesories for now.

You should probably KIV the Motul as the engine is still running in.  Usually I try to do alternate oil change as a form of cleaning agent for the engine.
Full size spare tyre ?

Right now, I am looking at car detailing stuffs ( again )  😆

Ceramic coat, the fella never reply me.  I think not fated - seems like when I need him,  he don't provide the service. 😆
To me, the most challenging part of the exterior will be the black trim.   The rear also seems to have a lot of build up of road film due to the design.
I use a product called Opti-Clean on the rear windshield,  seems to be ok because after the wiper, there is clarity. 😆
PPF, I have decided on STEK, will be doing soon.

Bought some frivolous stuff to cover the left and right side hole above the front wheel arch . Supposed to prevent leaves and twigs from going in.90% fit , need some minor mods aka cut out some plastics for the left side container to fit in

Niceee! It looked like it was 3D printed. I have yet to install the honeycomb insect mesh below the grille but i found a seller in Carousell selling it.

Might be getting it. Better late than having to worry on the condenser replacement if anything happens.

Its been a month of driving it and the average fuel consumption is pretty impressive (for now) at 24.5km/l.

What are you guys getting for the fc?
I recently installed a roof rack and roof basket yesterday in JB too. 😀

Ohhh yes, the road film is unsightly! Been raining these few days and those stuff has been on my window for the past few days. Will give Opti-Clean a try.

Do you apply solutions on the side mirrors so that the rain water doesnt stick?

My to-date actual average is about 22.9 km/L where as the dash average is 23.6 km/L.
This current tank of fuel at present is 25.3 km/L.
I felt it is quite good considering that it was rated at 18.8 km/L.

What petrol are you using ?  I am on Caltex 95.

Wah... so fast install roof rack. 👍
Mesh 3D print, I will likely pass.

The wing rear view mirrors?  Likely using Glaco.
Today raining again.  The Opti-Clean on the rear windshield seems holding well - quite clean when activated the rear wiper.

Eh... trying to visualize the mesh. 😆
If higher by a few degrees,  could be good.   My morning temp usually would be 90°C and below.

I will be trying 98 soon.  I suspect for this engine,  it will run better with higher octane.
I also looking at the grille.  I saw online,  to secure it,  they use cable ties. 😆

With higher RON, does it mean that Engine will optimise the compression ratio?

IMHO.
My understanding is that higher RON allows for higher compression which will affect power and efficiency.
However, need to take into consideration of the engine/ecu.

eh? compression ratio is fixed unless you have one of those nissan engines with variable compression.

what a higher RON allows is advancement of timing up to a limit. if your engine need 98 and you use 95 then the engine will pull or retard timing to reduce engine knock. thus reducing power.

Toyota to recall over 42,000 vehicles over loss of power brake assist, NHTSA says
27 Sep 2024 06:27PM(Updated: 28 Sep 2024 12:46AM)

Toyota Motor Corp is recalling over 42,000 U.S. vehicles over loss of power brake assist that can extend the distance required to stop, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said on Friday.

The recall affects certain 2023-2024 Corolla Cross Hybrid vehicles. The agency flagged a software error in the electronic control unit that manages the vehicle during skidding, which could result in loss of braking assistance when turning a corner.

A loss of power brake assist can extend the distance required for vehicle to stop, which increases the risk of a crash.

From RON98 to RON100, the saving is about 0.5km/L on NSHW.

The traffic was heavier when RON100 was used.
